ClassMagic Writing Generator
This fun, relaxed writing workshop is perfect for people new to writing creatively or returning to writing after time away, and also for long-time writers who want to spark new work. Writing becomes a communal activity that we explore and enjoy together through short guided exercises in a live online class meeting.
We’ll generate new writing and share our brand-new first drafts with each other. By giving each other encouraging feedback, we’ll identify what’s working well in our writing and the strengths we can develop and build on. Fiction, poetry, memoir, screenplay—we’re free to write in the genre of our choice. Writing exercises may explore concepts such as setting, character, dialogue, or revision. Together we’ll experiment, build confidence, and expand our comfort zones. All writing and feedback takes place during our live class session. Pick up your pen, set aside your inner critical editor, and let the magic happen!
