In this Saturday afternoon writing session, students will have the time to work on their writing. David Mura will provide a writing prompt they can either choose to follow or use the time to work on a writing project they have already started. Students will also have the option of signing up for a brief one-on-one consultation with David, who will meet with as many students as time allows. During this consultation, David will provide feedback on up to 3 pages of a student's writing. Students are responsible for bringing a printed copy of up to 3 pages of their writing for feedback.

This class is part of a series of classes that cover the issues and traditions of writers of color and indigenous writers, and is intended for writers of color and indigenous writers. Participants are welcome to register for one, several, or all of the sessions.

The class is offered on a pay what you can basis with the suggested fee of $15 ($13.50 for Loft members). Students may select the "pay what you can" option and enter any amount, including $0. No student will be turned away for not paying. You can register online or in person at the class, where there will be an opportunity to pay whatever amount is appropriate for you.
