Got a great idea for a screenplay or pilot, but don't know how to develop it? Have a screenplay that you want to rewrite with the help of fresh eyes in a structured setting? Then this class is for you! Offered to both beginning and intermediate writers, this class will help you finish Act I of your script and put you on the path to rewriting or completing your script.

Students will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas, develop a focused logline, create a strong protagonist, and learn the essentials of Act I structure. The rest of the course will guide you through writing the first act. Then you'll share some of your work with the instructor and fellow students for an in-class review. The final class also includes industry advice on how to get your scripts in the hands of agents, managers, and actors.
