Gordon Henry (Ojibwe) is an enrolled member/citizen of the White Earth Anishinaabe Nation in Minnesota. He is a retired Professor in the English Department at Michigan State University, where he taught American Indian Literature and Creative Writing. He served several years as Senior Editor of the

Elise Paschen, an enrolled member of the Osage Nation, is the author of Tallchief, The Nightlife, Bestiary, Infidelities (winner of the Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize), and Houses: Coasts. Her poems have appeared in When The Light of the World Was Subdued, Our Songs Came Through: A Norton Anthology
