Pastries, Poetry, and Prose: Alissa Nutting
Join the Loft for a special new online series: Poetry, Prose, and Pastries. Featuring acclaimed authors, we'll dig into all things delicious, whether we're talking about books, baked goods, or both. What are our favorite well-known treats and what are hidden gems? What are the cultural intersections of the local, national, and international? No better way to tie these questions, and more, together than to combine dessert with literature. Each hour-long session will begin with a chat about favorite treats and desserts, followed by discussion of emerging and under-the-radar literary artists, craft talk, and a Q&A with the live online audience. Unable to attend the live event? As long as you pre-register, you can access the recording after it airs.
This event will feature Alissa Nutting. For our inaugural year, we are thrilled she can join us. Look for other Poetry, Prose, and Pastries with Monique Truong (Jan 14), Patrick Rosal and Ross Gay (April 1), and Heid E. Erdrich (May 27).
Once you register for this webinar, you will receive two emails – one is a receipt and the other is a confirmation email from The Loft Literary Center via Crowdcast (firstname.lastname@example.org).
