Upcoming Loft events are listed below. All events through January 1, 2022 are virtual.

For In-person events: Advanced tickets guarantee a general admission seat and help cover the Loft's costs to host the event. Advanced tickets are non-refundable. Pay-what-you-can tickets are available at the door 30 minutes prior to most events on a first-come, first-served basis. No one turned away for lack of funds.

All virtual events are offered with a pay-what-you-can price point. All admission helps cover the Loft's costs to deliver high quality literary events.

Story of the Book: The Farmer's Lawyer
In 1983, Sarah Vogel filed a class action lawsuit in the state of North Dakota on behalf of 8,400 family farmers during the height of the farm crisis. Join Sarah, her book coach Leigh Stein, and the book's eventual literary agent Mackenzie Brady Watson to explore how 90 boxes of decades-old notes became a powerful forthcoming book.

Carnival Lights and A Council of Dolls—Native Authors on the Continuing Horrors of Colonization

The number of missing Indigenous women in North America has reached an epidemic, while horrific news of the remains of Native schoolchildren discovered at boarding schools seems to be a daily occurrence. Chris Stark and Susan Power, both of whom are releasing books related to these subjects, will be in discussion for this very special online event as a part of the Loft's Outside My Window fall theme.
