Open call for submissions 2023

Calling all Minnesota published writers of non-fiction!

Irish Network Minnesota is hosting the 3rd Annual Bloomsday Literary Award as part of the Irish Network MN’s 6th Annual Bloomsday Festival! The non-fiction book contest will be open to all published (and self-published) Minnesota writers.

Submissions are open March 1, 2023 through May 26, 2023.

Eligibility

The entries will be judged on:

• Celtic subject matter, viewpoint or context
• Unique writing style
• Creativity

Submission guidelines

Electronic submissions via e-mail only, reprints and multiple submissions will be accepted if submitted by individual e-mail.

Award

• $1000 Award
• The judges’ decisions will be finalized by June 12, 2023, with the announcement of the winner at Irish Network MN’s 6th Annual Bloomsday Festival, Thursday, June 15, 2023.
