White Bear Center for the Arts - Teen Creative Writing Club

Karen Parkman
October 21, 2021

Connect with other aspiring writers and expand your writing skills. Each session will include fun in-class writing activities such as: dream journaling, collaborative writing, synesthesia poems, writing with the five senses, descriptive food writing, and more. We’ll talk about what it means to be a writer, how to stay creative, how to pursue writing long-term, and how to get involved in the writing community. Whether you already have a writing project underway, or a million creative ideas, or are just starting out on your writing journey, there will be plenty of exercises to get you inspired and excited. All young writers have stories to tell, and this club will give you the space and tools to tell them.
