First Pages is a literary enrichment program offered by Hennepin County Library and MELSA in collaboration with The Loft Literary Center. The program consists of free, 90 minute creative writing sessions for child, teen, and adult writers of all levels, abilities, and backgrounds. Each 90 minute session takes place at area libraries within 8 different library systems: Hennepin, Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties and the city of Saint Paul. Sessions take place throughout the year, particularly in the spring (March - May) and fall (Sept - Nov).
