We need your help to make Wordplay happen. There will many ways to get involved and help the Loft pull off this festival, whether as a sponsor, exhibitor, author, or volunteer. Save the date and get in touch!
The Loft is seeking sponsorship support for Wordplay. This festival is a phenomenal opportunity to reach all kinds of readers. A 2016 Pew study shows that readers are a wide cross-section of the public—urban, rural, and suburban; high, middle, and low income; baby boomers, Generation X, and millennials.

The Loft will need a large number of volunteers for Wordplay in 2019 and we're now open for sign ups. Wordplay volunteers are required to take at least one full shift—if you would like to sign up for back to back shifts, please email email@example.com.
Volunteers will receive one Wordplay Street Festival Pass and a special Wordplay t-shirt. If you sign up for Sunday shifts you will be welcome to pick up your pass and voucher on Saturday or at early pick-up times announced soon. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
2019 Wordplay submissions are now closed.
We expect to open submissions for Wordplay 2020 on June 1 of 2019.
Wordplay will present approximately 100 authors whose books are published within the year the festival takes place. Authors will be from Minnesota and beyond.
We expect a large number of submissions and are unable to respond to every submission individually or return materials sent for consideration. All authors who are invited to participate will be featured in a panel or solo session; Wordplay does not feature authors for book signings only.
We want to make sure you are a part of Wordplay. Get your business or organization in front of book lovers, families, and community members by purchasing a spot in our exhibitor fair.
