Work With Us
The Loft Literary Center is renowned for the quality of its programming and its service to the community. Loft staff enjoy a flexible and supportive workplace, a full package of benefits, and the company of dedicated and creative colleagues.
Our seasonal, stipended internships support the Loft's marketing and programming efforts. Interns engage in meaningful work and walk away with hands-on experience and skills.

Volunteers work closely with Loft staff, author/personalities, and the literary community at Loft events, and elsewhere. The Loft only seeks volunteers interested in helping with literary events and occasional administrative projects.
Some long-term volunteers are eligible for work-study credit. For each hour you work at the Loft, you earn an hour of class time.
To apply for work study or volunteer opportunities at the Loft, please complete the linked form.
Loft teaching artists are essential partners in the Loft's work. The Loft has three class terms with open proposal periods. Details are below. If you have never taught at the Loft before, we recommend you download the Teaching at the Loft guide below before submitting a proposal. If you have questions about teaching at the Loft or your class idea, please contact Marianne Manzler <mmanzler (at) loft.org>.
All adult classes are merged into a single proposal form.
