Amelia Colwell

Amelia Colwell (she/her) is a writer working on her memoir, which includes prose, poetry, and fairy tales, weaved together to make sense of trauma. Amelia has published her writing in The Iowa Review, the Iowa Writes Project, and a forthcoming piece in Scarlet. She wrote and performed an episode of Out Cold: A Spooky Anthology Series, a horror podcast that debuted as a top fiction podcast on Apple Podcasts and was nominated for a Minnesota WebFest award. Amelia was a cast member in the 2019 Listen To Your Mother – Twin Cities storytelling show and served as a blog contributor for Young Nonprofit Professionals Network – Twin Cities. Amelia is a fundraising consultant by trade, a Minnesota State Arts Board review panelist, and a mother to her favorite kid in the entire world.
