Amy Hallberg

Amy Hallberg is a Master Certified Life Coach and Writing Mentor, known for her quicksilver mind and intuitive heart. Teaching German and Spanish refined her instincts for reading connections on many levels. Amy envisioned her forthcoming first book, German Awakening: Tales From an American Life while leading student exchanges to Karlsruhe. She was selected for The Loft’s Foreword Writing Apprenticeship in Creative Nonfiction and has collaborated with amazing mentors and peers ever since. Her second memoir, Where the Other Me Lives, is currently in revision. She majored in German Literature at Carleton College and holds certificates from The University of Chicago in Editing and German to English Translation. She is the mother of teenaged twin daughters.
