Evelyn Klein

Evelyn D. Klein author, speaker, artist, editor, holds an MST in English. Her teaching has involved classes in the public schools, at Century College and at The Loft Literary Center and workshops on writing and related topics at writers organizations, the Bloomington Writers Fair, and other organizations.

A prize winning poet with the Family Housing Fund’s “Home Sweet Home Again” exhibit of poetry and art touring the Twin Cities, her work has been widely published in journals, magazines and newspapers, most recently in MJA’s online Elements, Saint Paul Almanac, and the Moccasin. Her three books include a poetry memoir, From Here Across the Bridge, illustrated by her father, Wolfgang Klein, winning a cover award, and two books of prose, poetry and her own art, Once upon a Neighborhood  and Seasons of Desire, with the latter two books placed in the Minnesota Historical Society’s permanent library collection.
