Gail Rosenblum

Gail Rosenblum is editor of the Star Tribune's weekly Inspired section, which focuses on stories offering solutions and hope. She previously worked as the Star Tribune's social issues columnist for 10 years and as a features editor and writer for seven years before that. She is the author of A Hundred Lives Since Then: Essays on Motherhood, Marriage, Mortality and More from Nodin Press.

Before the Star Tribune, Gail worked for nearly 20 years as a reporter, editor, and essayist for many newspapers and national magazines. Her company, Roseberry Entertainment, is producer of the award-winning, children's animated musical, Enough Already! In 2019, Gail founded the nonprofit MPGL Entertainment to produce compelling films and teaching curricula to help young people connect the dots from current events to history. Gail has a BA in journalism from the University of New Mexico, and an MA in journalism from the University of Minnesota. Her writing has won awards from the Associated Press, American Association of Sunday and Feature Editors, and the Society of Professional Journalists in Minnesota and Texas.
