Jasmine Harris

Jasmine Harris is an educational specialist and internationally published poet learning and living in Arkansas. She is a certified wordsmith with an education in linguistics; she’s perfected the art of emoting through written verse. Her work has been featured in various publications including Hidden Sussex Anthology, Ink & Voices, International Poetry Digest, Prometheus Dreaming, Rigorous, etc. Harris’ first collection of poetry, I May Have Been In My Feelings, focuses on identity, relationships, and the climate of society. She began writing during her adolescence as a means of healthy self-expression and an avenue to discuss taboo topics. Harris frequently quotes her inspirations as Maya Angelou, Ntozake Shange, and Tupac Shakur. She hopes to highlight the positive value that can be added to one’s life through the appreciation of art.
