Jessica Nordell

Jessica Nordell is the author of The End of Bias: A Beginning, a finalist for the J. Anthony Lukas Prize and the Royal Society Science Book Prize. Called “a capacious thinker” by The New York Times, she has been a scholar-in-residence at the MIT Media Lab and a featured speaker at SXSW, and has published original research in collaboration with computer scientists. Her poetry manuscript Your Singing is How We Will Find You was a finalist for the 2026 Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize, selected by Terrance Hayes. Her work has been translated into eight languages.
