John LaPine

John LaPine earned his MA in creative nonfiction & pedagogy in 2017 from Northern Michigan University, worked as a full-time instructor at Butte Community College in Chico, California, and currently works as a second-year MFA candidate in poetry at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, teaching creative writing. His fiction, essays and poetry have appeared in journals such as Midwestern Gothic, Hot Metal Bridge, Glass: A Journal of Poetry, The /Temz/ Review, Petrichor Magazine, Rhythm & Bones, Wyvern Lit, Lammergeier Magazine & elsewhere. He enjoys working with nontraditional students, first-generation learners, and students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds, including queer and POC students.
