Kate Harding

Kate Harding is the author of Asking For It: The Alarming Rise of Rape Culture--and What We Can Do About It. She is a coauthor of The Book of Jezebel, and Lessons from the Fat-o-Sphere. Her personal essays have appeared in or on Salon, Jezebel, Dame, The Toast, and several anthologies.

She holds an MFA in Fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts, a BA in English from the University of Toronto, and is currently working on a PhD in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University.

A recent transplant to Minneapolis, she's previously taught at StoryStudio Chicago, and the Northwestern Summer Writing Workshop. See www.kateharding.info.
