Kris Patrow
Kris Patrow’s award-winning work in corporate thought leadership, strategic communications, multimedia content development and broadcast journalism make her a unique force in the industry and an invaluable resource for Padilla clients.
Kris excels in creating and leading results-driven integrated communications strategies: from record-breaking national and local media coverage to high-visibility product and campaign launches to high-impact customer-engagement tactics. For clients facing heightened media interest or reputation challenges, Kris provides expert crisis communications training, drawn from nearly 20 years of experience as a television news reporter. As the leader of PadillaPrep, Padilla’s industry-leading coaching practice, Kris has helped hundreds of clients across multiple industries immediately improve the effectiveness and impact of their communications skills.
Mayo Clinic, Edward Jones, Medtronic, Land O’Lakes, Target, Xcel Energy, 3M and UnitedHealth Group are among the many clients who have benefited from Kris’s counsel. Prior to joining Padilla, Kris also served the broader communication and video production needs of corporate and nonprofit clients, including Sara Lee, Sysco, Little Caesar’s Pizza, the American Medical Association and Lions Clubs International.
A Magna cum laude graduate from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, Kris worked her way up from an intern at the NBC affiliate in Green Bay to producer, reporter and anchor on programs for CNBC, the Discovery Channel and several network affiliates. Her career has taken her around the world, from London to Romania, Hong Kong to South America. Her documentary on a Mayo Clinic medical team’s volunteer mission to help poor children in Colombia won her national first-place journalism honors and, in her own words, “changed my life forever.”
