Laura Brandenburg

Laura Brandenburg is a veteran of spoken word performance and poetry readings across the Twin Cities, including in the legendary First Avenue music club, the Turf Club Clown Lounge, and the "Morningside After Dark" performance series at Morningside Church in Edina. She is co-host of the Riot Act Reading Series with Paul D. Dickinson and former editor/publisher of independent music/art/poetry 'zine, the Squealer. She has worked with differently-abled, autistic, and hearing-impaired adults and children since 1980. In 2010, she became a candidate for a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Hamline University.
