Liz Houlton

Liz Houlton (she/her) is the Guthrie Theater's Senior Manager of Foundation Relations and joined the team after nearly 15 years on the West Coast, working as a grant writer, live performance producer, dance director, and choreographer. After earning a Master's in Arts Leadership from Seattle University in 2021, Houlton pursued full-time administrative roles with Seattle Children's Theater, Town Hall Seattle, and as a grant writing and campaign fundraising consultant. Houlton has given lectures for BFA and MFA courses at Seattle University in grant writing and campaign fundraising, and presented at a Seattle University Arts Leadership Symposium the value of fostering young arts leaders in a COVID-cautious world. With a passion for ensuring artists can live fulfilling lives as artists, Houlton's teaching goals will continue to put resources in the pockets of those who need them most; empowering artists to achieve their artistic goals.
