Marcy Woodard

Marcy's passion for nonprofit accounting stems from the desire to help organizations do the most they can with the resources they have. Having taken a slightly strange approach into the world of finance, Marcy's academic background includes Art History, Ceramics, and American History as told from the perspectives of Indigenous Artists. It was through this Liberal Arts background that her passion for resource equity blossomed.  After working in the corporate sector for a few years, Marcy decided to pursue a Master's in Nonprofit Management, and has since found incredible joy in helping organizations responsibly use their funds to reach lofty goals and strive toward mission success.

Marcy enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and family. Favorite activities include hiking, camping, swimming, kayaking/canoeing, foraging for wild edible plants, and finding random adventures in the great outdoors. Inspired at an early age by books such as Hatchet and Call of the Wild, paired with the rural environment where she was raised, Marcy feels a deep connection to the wilderness and seeks out opportunities to explore new (to her) landscapes and environments. When at home or while enjoying alone time, Marcy is an avid reader, loves to cook and bake, and will watch/read anything related to Zombie Apocalypses or Wilderness Survival.
