Mary Jane LaVigne
Mary Jane’s work has appeared in Water~Stone Review, Slag-Glass City, and Minnesota History. She is an editor of The Black Rock Beacon, the Burning Man newspaper, where she writes under the byline Mrs. Lucky. She studied with the late Cheri Register in the Loft’s Master Track program in Creative Nonfiction, and was selected for the Loft Mentor Series in 2009. An authority on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s ties to White Bear Lake, Mary Jane has presented on the topic at literary conferences in the US and abroad. Since 2014, she’s led the monthly Writing Roundtable at the White Bear Center for the Arts.
