Michael Sanders

Michael J. Sanders holds a PhD in literature from Washington University in St. Louis. He has taught literature and creative writing for almost a decade. He has published academic writing, reviews, and literary fiction in fantasy and horror. He is a Postdoctoral Affiliate at Washington University’s Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity. He is a fiction editor at the Spectacle, where he has published William H. Gass, Karen Tei Yamashita, Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore, K-Ming Chang, and many others. In 2020 he won the Kathy Schneider Award at Washington University for his dedication to teaching, writing feedback, student care, and inclusivity.
