Nicole Montana

Nicole Montana has been writing and editing professionally for 15 years. She is a recipient of a Ricardo Salinas Scholarship for her participation in Aspen Words Summer Words 2022 Program. She won a 2020 Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant and was a finalist in the Loft Mentor Series, both for her memoir-in-progress Stay Where I Can See You. Her nonfiction writing has most recently appeared in The Spectacle. She currently teaches writing at the University of Minnesota and The Loft Literary Center. She received her MFA in Nonfiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
