Patricia Hoolihan

Patricia Hoolihan is a writer and teacher. Her forthcoming book, Hands and Heart Together - Daily Meditations for Caregivers will be out in October of 2020, published by Holy Cow! Press. Her memoir, Storm Prayers: Retrieving and Reimagining Matters of the Soul, was published in 2014.

Her other books include Launching Your Teen into Adulthood: Parenting through the Transition; A Moment's Peace: 365 Rejuventating Reflections for Parents of Teens; Teen Girls Only: Daily Thoughts for Teenage Girls; and Small Miracles: Daily Meditations for Mothers in Recovery.

She has published essays in the Walker Art Catalog, Flight Training magazine, and various journals. Chapters from her memoir won an Honorable Mention for the Brenda Euland Prose Prize in the Water~Stone Review, as well as first place in the Writers on Time competition. A memoir excerpt was published in Great River Review.

Patricia has been teaching at the Loft and Metropolitan State University for over 20 years.
