Sun Mee Chomet

Sun Mee Chomet is an actor and playwright based in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has worked at Lincoln Center, Guthrie Theater, Cincinnati Playhouse, Hartford Stage, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Kansas City Repertory, Syracuse Stage, Mu Performing Arts and many other theaters locally and nationally. Sun Mee’s one-woman show about her search and reunion with her birth family, How to Be a Korean Woman, was recognized as the "2012 Best Solo Performance" (Lavender Magazine) and was named in the "Top Ten Shows of 2012" (Minneapolis Star Tribune). Sun Mee 's first play, Asiamnesia (actor and playwright) received "Best New Script of 2008" honors (Star Tribune). Currently, Sun Mee can be seen on stage in Ten Thousand Things Theater’s production of The Sins of Sor Juana; and she served as assistant director of Brothers Paranormal, now running at Penumbra Theatre.
