Terry Horstman started playing basketball as a child in Minneapolis and grew up to become the all-time lowest scoring player in the history of Minnesota high school basketball. A dubious record, but one that can never be broken. He has an MFA from the creative writing programs at Hamline University in Saint Paul, and his writing has been published by Taco Bell Quarterly, The Growler, Eater: Twin Cities, USA TODAY Sports Media Group, and others. He is the founding editor of the Under Review, a literary magazine with a sports slant that published its first issue in December of 2019. He lives and writes in Northeast Minneapolis.
