Wing Young Huie

Photographer Wing Young Huie has captured the complex cultural realities of American society for over 35 years. His work has been shown in museums globally and in epic street installations, providing a collective window and mirror of the them who are really us. The StarTribune named him “Artist of the Year” in 2000, and in 2018 he received the McKnight Distinguished Artist Award, also winning a Minnesota Book Award for his seventh and most personal book, Chinese-ness.
