Writing to Connect (November 15) delves into ways that writing fosters understanding and fellowship.

Dive into previous writing and expand on work you have already done—or start here.

We will look at examples of stories from community, practice writing exercises, and participate in healing by way of fellowship with peers. We will live into community with a carefully facilitated space for share-outs of written work

This Narrative Healing partnership with Hope Arts Center helps us experience writing as a way to heal in any one of these 90-minutes sessions—or sign up for all three. Each session offers participants a unique opportunity to explore writing as a healing art.

A Loft teaching artist will lead activities for healing in three distinct sessions: Explore how writing can help us move through memories of pain and conflict, how music can be a prompt for language, and how our efforts to heal can affect our larger communities.
