ClassRevolution, Revelation, and Joy: A Class for Queer and Trans Writers
This class explores creative non-fiction written by trans writers and containing themes that are underrepresented in traditional publishing and often written in unconventional forms. Students will discuss how to bring aspects of radical joy and vulnerability to their own writing.
The Loft’s Queer Writers Class Series a space for LGBTQIA+ readers, writers, and creators in Minnesota and beyond. This series aims to celebrate and elevate the voices of LGBTQIA+ individuals by crafting stories and building community, fostering meaningful connections, and enriching their lives through literature. These classes cover the issues and traditions of queer writers and are intended for queer writers to work on their craft in a space that centers them and their work.
Minnesota human rights laws prevent the exclusion of anyone based on their identity. If you are not a queer writer or reader, please be mindful of the space and energy you take up in a group intended to uplift traditionally marginalized and silenced communities. Anyone being disruptive may be asked to leave.

Instructions for Accessing This Online Class
In order to access live class meetings, you must have the Zoom application downloaded to your computer. You will also need a WiFi/Internet connection throughout the duration of your scheduled meeting and a computer with audio and video capability.
