Manuscript Critique
Amy Bishop-Wycisk—Query Letters and First 10 Pages for Lit Agents

Open to: Query letters and first ten (10) pages for literary agents. Open to genres of fiction, nonfiction, and YA.

Query Letter Critique

If you are ready to start sending out your manuscript to agencies, you need a query letter that sparks the attention of an agent. As a literary agent with a decade of experience across genres, I can help you structure and proofread your query letter. My critique will help you put your book’s best foot forward.

First Ten Pages

The opening of your manuscript is an invitation to readers to fall into the world of your book and often you are asked to submit the beginning pages of your manuscript with your query letter. I can offer a critique of the first ten pages, focusing on how the opening would be viewed by a literary agent. I will take into account key elements like narrative flow, pacing, character, cohesiveness, readability, and grammar.

Please share with the ten pages a small pitch for context (this pitch will not be included as part of the critique).
