AmazeWorks and the Loft present the book launch for Revolutions Are Made of Love: The Story of James Boggs and Grace Lee Boggs.

Celebrate the launch of Revolutions Are Made of Love: The Story of James Boggs and Grace Lee Boggs with authors Sun Yung Shin and Mélina Mangal. These authors' poems bring the inspiring legacy of activists James Boggs and Grace Lee Boggs to life.

Titled after a core belief of James and Grace, Revolutions Are Made of Love: The Story of James Boggs and Grace Lee Boggs is a powerful picture book that shares the story of their lifelong partnership and activism for civil rights, fair housing, labor, food justice, urban gardens, and more. The collection pairs poems with bold mixed-media artwork by debut picture book illustrator Leslie Barlow. This special event will feature a brief program, book reading, author Q&A, and signing. Attendees will also receive a free AmazeWorks lesson on the book for educators and caregivers of children grades 2-8. Refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, so register now to reserve your spot!
