1000 Words Heard for INARA

Have you ever wondered how your short story might sound narrated by a professional voice actor and recorded as an audiobook?

If you'd like to have your writing published in an audio format, this is the contest for you! Not only will the ten winning stories be voiced by a professional narrator, but you'll be helping an amazing cause just by entering 1000 Words Heard for INARA.

When a child is injured, either directly or indirectly, by the horrors of war, parents are often at a loss knowing who to go to in order to get help. INARA is there to establish links between these children and the medical support that they need.

When no one else can help them, they ensure that the child gets the treatment that will help them lead better lives. This is what INARA does.

While we’re all impacted by COVID-19, there are vulnerable people in the world who were suffering long before the virus took hold. Right now they need our help. And as a writer, you can be a hero.

Entering the contest is simple. Just go to the entry page at https://bibliophone.com/1000-words-heard-for-inara/ and follow the instructions. But hurry! Entry is a charity donation of just $4/£4/€4 and it must be submitted by May 8 2020. Don't worry, you have until May 22 to get your 1000 word short story into us, but please make your donation by May 8.

Ten winners will have their stories narrated by one of our fabulous guest voice actors and published at the top of our homepage. The ten stories will remain there for a minimum of one month, and we will tweet them every day for as long. Authors are encouraged to include an author bio featuring links to their website, social media, and other work available, so it's great publicity and an added dimension to your author platform. Because as you probably know, audiobooks represent the fastest growing sector in the book industry.
