Finding my Minnesota RootsLegacy Lost: Passing Across the Color Line

Two opportuites to enage with local story of successful African American family lost across the color line. Author, Barbara Hilyer,  grew up on the west coast not knowing her African American heritage. She has written Legacy Lost: Passing Across the Color Line to share her journey. Three generations of her family lived in Minneapolis-and she is visiting for the first time to share their story in the place it belongs.
