NAMI Minnesota Mental Health Month Author Talk with Jeremy Hance (May 12)
Mental Health Month Author Talk with Jeremy Hance
Wednesday, May 12th from 6:30-7:30 PM
Join Jeremy Hance, a writer and freelance environmental journalist, who also happens to cohabitate with mental illnesses, for a reading of his book and an author talk. He will read from his memoir Baggage: Confessions of a Globe-Trotting Hypochondriac. In his new book, Hance chronicles his hilarious and inspiring adventures as he reconciles his traveling career as an environmental journalist with his severe OCD and anxiety. As he and his partner soldier through the highs and lows of the altitudes and their relationship, Hance discovers the importance of resilience, the many ways to manage mental illness when in stressful situations, how nature can improve your mental health, and why it is so important to live a life packed with experiences even if you struggle daily.
