Realizing Wakanda (Feb 2 & 3)

January 20, 2021

Join this interactive Forum which responds to Minnesota’s education disparities that are becoming greater among Black scholars (students). Black history and culturally relevant curriculum are severely lacking in Minnesotan classrooms. Mainstream education is centered in whiteness and is taught by predominantly white educators. In an effort to resolve this, AALF and MHC will host this virtual Forum to increase scholar (student), caregiver, and educator engagement in Black/Afro centric education.

Participants will receive thought-provoking content, engaging networking opportunities, and unique educational resources.

To get the most out of this two-day forum, we encourage you to attend both February 2 and 3. If you are unable to attend both sessions, feel free to register for either day independently.

CEUs will be available.
