Vaughn A. Foster Jr. exists as an author, editor, musician, and mental health practioner. He was born in New Jersey and has since lived in Ohio and Minneapolis, Minnesota. He earned his BA from Malone University, where he was a representative for the college’s Creative Writing Department as well as a judge for the Ohio Power of the Pen creative writing contest. He will complete his master’s in clinical counseling in May of 2021 with a focus in the interplay between narrative and creative media and mental health. He is the author of the dark fantasy novel When We Were Still Human (2021). Foster has served the writing world for over five years as a consultant, instructor, and editor for fiction authors and businesses. When he’s not hiking through state parks or playing guitar on stage, Foster can probably be found searching for stories where fantasy and reality collide.
