Ashley E. Wynter
Ashley E. Wynter is a writer, editor, curator, and community organizer invested in the transformative power of storytelling. She has worked in the non-profit arts sector for seven years and has helped organize major events like the Native American Literature Symposium, as well as black writers' programs at More Than A Single Story. Wynter is currently the Editor at Copper Canyon Press, where she has edited poetry collections for Kazim Ali, Diannely Antigua, Leila Chatti, Traci Brimhall, Tyree Daye, and Yuki Tanaka, among others. She has received multiple grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board to organize readings, writing workshops, and multimedia art exhibits throughout the community. Wynter’s award-winning poetry can be found at The Florida Review, New Millennium, Torch Literary Arts, West Trade Review, and as part of the 2025 Silverwood Park Poetry Audio Trail. She is a 2025-28 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow.
