Cecilia Konchar Farr

Cecilia Konchar Farr is professor of English and women’s studies and a Carondelet Scholar in the Women’s College at St. Catherine University, where she teaches, researches, and writes about popular literature and the history of the novel. She is the author of The Ulysses Delusion: Rethinking Standards of Literary Merit and Reading Oprah: How Oprah’s Book Club Changed the Way America Reads and the editor of several essay collections, including the soon to be published Open at the Close: Literary Essays on the Harry Potter Novels.
