Jennifer Burd

Jennifer Burd is author of four books: Day's Late Blue (poetry; published in July 2017 by Cherry Grove Editions); Receiving the Shore (poetry chapbook with CD, with musician Laszlo Slomovits; Little Light Publications, 2016); Body and Echo (poetry; PlainView Press, 2010); and Daily Bread: A Portrait of Homeless Men & Women of Lenawee County, Michigan (creative nonfiction; Bottom Dog Press, 2009). She has also co-written a children's play called I Can Hear the Sun (based on a children's book of the same name by Patricia Polacco), which was produced by Ann Arbor's Wild Swan Theater in the spring of 2015. Burd received her MFA degree in creative writing from the University of Washington.
