John Berube

John Berube is a writer and creative strategist with a background in nonprofit development and arts programming. Before joining the Loft, he worked in advertising and at a nonprofit startup accelerator, where he focused on communications, partnerships, and growth strategy. His writing spans fiction, essays, and experimental projects, often exploring art, identity, and human connection. At the Loft, John brings his passion for literature and design to support the community of readers and writers. Outside of work, he runs a small publishing imprint dedicated to experimental books and zines, coordinates a local art gallery, and engages with visual arts, architecture, design, music, and film to explore connections between disciplines.
