Kaia Preus

Kaia Preus is the author of The War Requiem (Essay Press, 2020), which was a finalist for a 2021 Minnesota Book Award. She holds her MFA in creative writing from Hollins University and was a 2019 Author Fellow through the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Pleiades, the Drum, the Briar Cliff Review, and elsewhere. She is the Graduate/Professional School and Personal Statement Writing Coach at St. Olaf College.
