Kelly Westhoff
Kelly Westhoff has been writing haiku for over fifteen years and is a haiku master teacher. She loves fitting words into the 5-7-5 format of traditional haiku, but also appreciates the appeal of all micro poetry. For her, haiku is a practice in mindfulness. She enjoys discovering parallels between her life and nature. As a Minnesotan, she has found the ever-changing seasons to be a constantly-renewing source of inspiration. Her haiku have been featured in Tricycle, Fem-Ku, Wales Haiku Journal, and Prune Juice Journal. Find more of her haiku on Instagram @KellyWesthoffWrites.
