Kevin Fenton

Kevin Fenton is the author of the novels Merit Badges and Cyan Magenta Yellow Black and the memoir Leaving Rollingstone. His books have been awarded the AWP Prize for the Novel and the Friends of the American Writer Award. His shorter work has appeared in The American Scholar, Ploughshares, the Gettysburg Review, and Shenandoah. Rather than applying rigid formulas, he works with the class and the writer to find the essence of what they want to say, using respectful questions and specific praise to further this discussion.
