Khadija Charif
Khadija Charif is a poet, visual artist, and art organizer whose work bridges storytelling, culture, and connection. Born in Somalia and raised in Belgium and the U.S., her art explores identity, faith, migration, community, and resilience. Khadija has performed, hosted open mics, and led un/making the world, a cohort-based project reimagining community and creativity. At Soomaal House of Art, she elevates Somali voices through initiatives like The Translator’s Task and The Blooming Lotus Flower. Her poetry and photography, exhibited across Minneapolis and beyond, reflect her commitment to fostering empathy and belonging through shared experiences.
