Lucia LoTempio
Lucia LoTempio is a poet, arts administrator, editor, and reader originally from Buffalo, New York. She is the author of Hot with the Bad Things, a lyric sequence published by Alice James Books. After receiving an MFA in poetry from the University of Pittsburgh, she spent a few more years in that Rust Belt city, managing programs and outreach at the literary arts and international free speech organization City of Asylum, and then transitioned to a position managing curriculum for Arts Greenhouse, a project of Carnegie Mellon University. She currently serves on the editorial board for Alice James Books and as a poetry reader for The Offing. In her free time, Lucia loves practicing hot and power yoga, taking lake walks, listening to an audiobook or a podcast, reading widely across genre, dabbling in home renovation, and seeking out new experiences with her husband, Matt. New to Minneapolis, Lucia is trying to eat her way around the Twin Cities. Learn more about Lucia and her writing at lucialotempio.com.
