Margaret Todd Maitland

Margaret Todd Maitland is the former editor of Ruminator Review, a journal of cultural criticism. She has edited the prose work of many writers, including Patricia Hampl, Kathleen Norris, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka, A.S. Byatt, Robert Bly, and Neil Gaiman. She has taught writing and editing at the University of Minnesota, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and the Hamline Graduate Liberal Studies Program.

For her creative nonfiction, Maitland has received a Loft McKnight Fellowship, a Bush Artist Fellowship, a Jerome Travel Grant, and grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College.
