Michael Curran-Dorsano

Michael Curran-Dorsano was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. He went on to earn his BFA in Acting at Juilliard where he studied both Classical and Contemporary styles of theater. In school, he hosted interdisciplinary workshops, that combined the art forms of opera, dance, jazz and acting to tell human stories. Upon graduating, he went on to perform on stage, screen, and behind the microphone for 12 years, working at The Guthrie, Cincinnati Playhouse, and the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, on TNT’s The Last Ship, and as an audiobook narrator for Harper Collins and Scholastic. During that time, he taught voice and speech in Shenzhen, China, and coached actors privately for stage and screen. He currently resides in Galway, Ireland after earning his MA in Writing at National University Ireland Galway. His writing projects include plays, prose, poetry, and screenplays. He is currently in the editorial process for his debut poetry collection A Silent Song Of River Stones, which will be published in Ireland in the fall with Dubh Publishing.
